Disable auto-emoji in chat

Hi! is there a way to disable auto-emoji such as :) in the chat too? Right now the setting only applies to topic and posts.

There is not, I opened a bug report about it a while back:

Emoji shortcuts setting ignored in chat when turned off

The site setting enable emoji shortcuts doesn’t seem to work on 34a83fe1c8 in chat, :/, :), :D, etc will still change to their emoji variants with it off.
