Our email server has been disabled due to a hack in our organization, pending a long security review. We are temporarily without email servers, it may get long before we have a new email server up and running. Can new signups still happen without the email server? So far, when a new signup happen, an email was sent to confirm (see screenshot). I can’t test it now, so I’m not sure whether that email was asking to click on some confirmation link. If that is the case, can that be disabled?
I believe it is required for new accounts to be validated by e-mail, yes there is a confirmation link sent out in those to verify if it is a valid e-mail.
