The links I sent are a.com, example.com, https://example.com and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exotic_Shorthair. discobot stops replying and only sends a “checking on you” message a few minutes later (not in screenshot).

Thanks for bringing up the issue. Thanking you for checking out with my Discobot. But right now, l’m more interested in gaining new contents for discussion. There’s hardly any contributor at hand.
Please understand that l’m only toying with the idea of developing a forum.
Actually I’m bringing this on Discourse Meta because discobot is built by the Discourse developers and Discourse Meta is the place to report the bug to Discourse developers so they can see if it’s a real bug and fix it
because Discourse is used by many other forums and if it’s fixed it will benefit all of them
