Discourse Developer Needed for MySQL integration

SiteBar is an open source bookmarking application which uses MySQL as its database:

I have extensively customized Sitebar and would like to integrate it with Discourse.

This project will not involve working with the SiteBar code. Rather, I would like to integrate Discourse so that topics and bookmarks in the Sitebar MySQL database correlate with topics in Discourse.
