Discourse docker canot setup

(James Tan) #1

after filling up all the information required by discourse-setup, gets this:

Sorry, these containers/app.yml settings aren’t valid – can’t continue!
If you have unusual requirements, edit containers/app.yml and then:
./launcher bootstrap app

(Joshua Rosenfeld) #2

Can you share your app.yml file please, removing/masking any passwords?

(Jay Pfaffman) #3

Or share what you typed in. Don’t include the password and user name, but note if they have special characters.

Hey Everybody,
I’m having the same issue
Please note I’ve changed the url to (.c) when they are really (.co) because Discourse won’t let a new user to post more than two links on this forum.

SMTP server address? [smtp.example.c]: smtp.sparkpostmail.com

SMTP user name? [SMTP_Injection]: SMTP_Injection
SMTP password? [pa$$word]: ******************************
Optional email address for setting up Let's Encrypt? (ENTER to skip) [me@example.com]: omar@innovationdrive.c

Thank you in advance for all your generous help :grinning:
