Does the new "+new related topic" only work for admin?

in our case even moderators do not have access to the “create related topic” which is now in the share button.

Something must be off in your install as I have access to it here and I’m not a Moderator or Admin…

yes, the same exist for me in meta-discourse.

any idea if there’s a setting to make this option on/off? i couldn’t find any setting using the keywords: “linked topic” in the admin panel.

What TL is your moderators? As I think reply as new topic is limited by TL too.

yes, you were right. i changed the TL from 2 to 3, and the option shows up. Thanks for your help Cpardio

why would the option needs such high TL? as it just helps the forum to be clean and the topics get connected using the users contribution. of course non-relevant linking of topics will do the vise versa!

is there any other reason than non-relevant linking?

Hmm… that doesn’t seem right. Based on the code, it seems to be TL 1

any check i can do in order to find out what’s going on/help in this issue?

Not sure. I can’t reproduce it. On my sandbox (which is running latest of tests-passed), changing a TL 0 user to TL 1 makes the option appear.
