Emojis are not visible in excerpts

Currently when insert emoji in title It is showing correct in display and view source.

When insert emoji in description it is show correct in display (Picture 1). But when we see in view source then it is change in text (Picture 2).

So insert emoji in description not showing in google SERP (Picture 3).

This is kind of a feature request, I think it has come up before.

The excerpt (which is text only) does not do a reverse emoji translation. We could possibly implement this but it gets pretty tricky.
