I’m trying out the sidebar menu. When I add a category to display, I get an error about not completing user fields.
This is happening when I try it on different user accounts, too.
(btw, I am using the Air theme.)

I can reproduce this error too, it looks like it happens when there’s a required custom field that hasn’t been filled out (should be in the profile tab of your preferences). For some reason it seems like the sidebar preferences get caught in the check for required fields from that page.

That did the trick! One of the fields in the Profile was not completed. It was a custom field I set up myself so I was hoisted by my own petard!
