One of my forum members is getting a problem when trying to log in.
This is happening when the page loads, not when he enters his ID and password.
He runs Linux (Debian) and gets this error consistently with the current ESR version of Firefox (115) - both the package that Debian ships and the tarball of same build direct from [mozilla.org ] The problem doesn’t happen with the leading edge version (122).
I’ve checked the site logs and there’s nothing relevant captured.
Is this a known issue? I’m at a loss to explain it.

I had that problem too when I used the firefox andriod app to check another bug. But after updating the app the error did not appear again.

Does he have extensions installed that might explain it?
Are there clues in the javascript console?

I’m waiting for a response on that one.
I got a reply from the forum member. He uses uBlock Origin and NoScript but the error message appears even when they’re disabled. He also tried moving the config files out the way and downloaded the latest ESR version from Mozilla, so that would have run without any plugins and with a default config.
