Hi, This is probably a basic Question, but: I’m currently tring to install Discourse onto my Ubunut Server but I always get this Error: [2022-09-07 23_18_47-root@v2202001112289107119_ _var_discourse] My DNS Setting seem correct: [2022-09-07 23_21_59-DNS _ yayeet.org _ Ytimo.komentarhotlinne@gm…

Disabling the Proxy (and waiting a while) should fix the problem  Because being behind Cloudflare Proxy doesn’t show the real IP of the server, so Discourse can’t verify correctly

Well I use Cloudflare to connect my Domain to the ip of the server

I see it, but the orange cloud must be disabled (gray) for the server’s subdomain (At least, at install time)

I try with the DNS Settings of my Domain Host

Ah, so cloudflare is fine unless I turn the orange cloud off?

[صورة] Timothee: cloudflare is fine unless I turn the orange cloud off? I think you mean one of these: It’s fine if you unless you turn the orange cloud on. It’s fine if you the the orange cloud off. It’s fine if you turn the gray cloud on.

Hm, I disabled the proxy at Cloudflare but it still doesn’t work…

It can take minutes, or even up to 24 hours for the change to take effect Just wait

Ahh, ok. Thank you very much - I’ll wait
