I just saw graph in the admin search logs and it looks cool, how was that achieved? Is it possible to do something similar for users? If so, what resources or suggestions are there on doing something similar?

The idea is for a discussion board for students. The instructor felt it would be nice if students could see a graph reflecting daily contributions and usage and also to get graphs about their data
