This has been raised before but still, there’s no concrete solution.
There has been a very critical issue that makes my app user churn a lot for the past month.
When they sign up for an account/sign in to their old account on our forum, they receive this error: New registrations are not allowed from your IP address (maximum limit reached)
Even me, when I sign out and sign in again, I couldn’t log in myself. I had to reset my password in order to be able to enter the forum.
I have followed some people’s instructions here, but no luck. Could you help me with this?
The site setting described there is the correct solution. Maybe that setting is cached, did you restart your Discourse instance after changing the setting? Not usually required but if you’re having trouble, worth a try.
