引用直後にコンポーザーパネルを非表示にすると投稿がキャンセルされます

再現手順：

  1. テキストの一部を選択して引用します。
  2. コンポーザーに何も入力せず、すぐに右側の矢印をクリックしてコンポーザーを非表示にします。
  3. 投稿全体がキャンセルされ、復元できません。

Macの最新のChromeとSafariでテスト済みです。

Pretty sure this is by design, you have not typed any text.

I don’t see how that justifies terminating the composer with no warning.

If I wanted to cancel my post, I’d press the ‘cancel’ button. If my reply only contains a quote, you could drop the post without a confirmation prompt, like you do if my reply is empty.
