It used to be possible to hit the Home key to go to the beginning of a topic, but this is no longer worker. Hitting the End key to go to the end of a topic still works. To reproduce simply go into a long-ish topic (100+ posts will easily demonstrate), go to the end directly via the timeline, then hit the Home key. It used to go to the first post but now it only goes up to the first loaded post, which at least on Meta appears to be 20 posts.
