But i would like to switch to this:

Welcome to Meta! 
To change homepage go to: yoursite.com/admin/site_settings/category/basic?filter=top%20menu
And change the order to ‘latest’ first.

You can change your homepage style from the set-up wizard ([YourSite]/wizard). Though you can also jump straight to the styling page and save it from there if you don’t want to skip through the pages to get there: [YourSite]/wizard/steps/styling
