How to assign topic to a moderator using curl or python script(not from web UI)

Hi,

I am moderator of the platform hosted by Discourse. I can see Assign button for each topic in the UI. Does that mean assign plugin is enabled? I have my API key and able to performs operations like pull latest topics using curl. I want to assign a topic to a moderator. I would like to know the endpoint for assign plugin. Could you please guide me on how to assign topic using Curl command or python script.

From what you describe, I would assume that the assign plugin is enabled.

You can Reverse engineer the Discourse API to find out how a request to assign a topic looks like.

As a customer, you can also send an email to the support inbox team@discourse.org from the email connected to the account on the forum you moderate (or you can message the @team group here at Meta. If you signed up here using the same email address, they can also identify that you are a customer).
