I uploaded a PDF in a post, but I can’t get the number of clicks it had.

the odd thing is that Discourse counts all clicks to external files (the topic_links table shows all infos about clicked files and posts), but not internal!
how is it possibile?
is there a better way to count internal file clicks, but using Googel Analytics?
