How do you use the 
function? It always seems to show an arbitrary date when you put just :date: - is there a way to change what date is shown?

function? It’s an Emoji
Similar to `:alarm_clock:’ it only shows the one. 
I suppose someone with the know-how could make a set to get it to be more like the :clock##: series.
:clock12: :clock430: :clock8: :clock1030: etc
