How would I post an asset onto the site?

Hi there,

Through an admin setting or a plugin, instead of posting an image and receiving a link to the upload (https://example.com/uploads/default/original/R9RAND0MNU8MBE0RS.png) how could I just upload it onto the site?

Why you may ask? - For some strange reason my .mov uploads haven’t been working correctly even though set up correctly, or correctly to my knowledge.

- When I upload a .mov file.
