Is there an option to move a post to another category without changing time stamp

Hi,

In case we move a post to another category, the time stamp of the post itself doesn’t change but the post is displayed as the most recent one within the posts’ list ob the home page of our Forum.

How can we make changes to posts without moving them to the most recent posts?

I’m fairly sure that the bulk move tool from the topic list can be used to change categories without changing timestamps.

Theres also the change timestamp tool in the moderator tools of a topic which can be used to set it back to when it was made.

If its only one post in a topic it will automatically bump it to latest if changing category - if more than one post then it shouldnt do.

I get around this by using the bulk move from the topic list as @Cameron_D said
