I am considering using Discource for my web app. I have a networking site where groups of people can create and join separate “networks.” I want them to have the ability to hold private in-network conversations. I’m hoping that Discourse can work for this. Is there a way to isolate groups of users and conversations by network id?
Either use category permissions (assigned to a group) or group personal messaging.

OK, I’ll look into those. Thanks! I’m hoping I can also integrate it with the Yii framework. That’s my next hurdle.
