Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate Not Renewing

Hello everyone,

I have an issue with my Discourse instance related to SSL certificates.

The problem:

  • My SSL certificate has been expired for 5 days.
  • I’ve tried to fix it by updating the instance with:
    ./launcher rebuild web_only

  • After that, I ran the following command to upgrade the acme script:
    cd /root/acme.sh && LE_WORKING_DIR="${LETSENCRYPT_DIR}" ./acme.sh --upgrade --auto-upgrade

The site works after the update, but the SSL certificate is still showing as expired.

Here is the output of ./discourse-doctor if it can help:

You can examine the output of this script with
LESS=-Ri less /tmp/discourse-debug.txt

BUT FIRST, make sure that you know the first three commands below!!!

Question:

How can I correct this and renew the SSL certificate properly?

Thank you for your help!
