Limit Search to Categories only

Is it possible to have the search function ONLY return categories and not search users, post, ect.?

Open the fullscreen search (e.g. https://meta.discourse.org/search?expanded=true) and tap on Topics/posts to access the drop-down list of options and select Categories/tags.

This isn’t quite what you’ve asked for, but I believe it’s as close as is currently possible.

You can access the fullscreen search by clicking on the filter icon in the search bar.

Thanks. So I am trying to not customize my personal settings but customize how the broader community can utilize search. I am certain I had this working in a previous build but cannot seem to find it.

Do you want it not to be possible to search for topics? If the search returns only categories, how will people find topics?
