While browsing Category A, if i click on TAG 2, I would like the results to show up only within Category A, it should not include Category B.

The Tags for Category A should not be visible in Category B.

If you’re talking about the tag selector in a topic list, it already works that way, which makes me thing I don’t understand your question.
Can you clarify a bit the behavior you’d like (if you can include screenshots as well)?
OK, i figured it out. I had to Edit the category itself >> Restrict these tag groups to this category, and it works.
Everyone got to make sure they test this as a user, not as an admin
