Link directly to "Post History" (edit history)?

Surprised that I couldn’t find a reference to this being asked before on meta, but is it possible to link directly to the history view of a post (ie, when you click the :pencil2: on a post and see the diff of how the post has changed).

We had some users complaining on principle about posts being edited, and would like to link them to specific examples of how posts actually are edited so they can see for themselves it’s never to change the message… Just protecting privacy, fixing broken links and other formatting…

Also, is there a way to search for posts that have been modified? If not via the regular discourse search, how about via Data Explorer?

No, that’s not possible at the current time. But you can certainly link the post and indicate which revision # you’re talking about.

  • Основная тема
    • Ссылка на тему 2, ревизия 3
    • Ссылка на тему 5, ревизия 9

Например:

  • Как сделать стул: Версия 1

    • Как сделать ножки: ревизия 2
    • Как сделать сиденье: ревизия 4
    • Как сделать спинку: ревизия 5

  • Как сделать стул: Версия 2

    • Как сделать ножки: ревизия 3
    • Как сделать сиденье: ревизия 9
    • Как сделать спинку: ревизия 5

Основную тему, на которую мы будем ссылаться или закреплять, мы назовём «Как сделать стул». Каждая ревизия этой темы будет ссылаться на конкретные ревизии тем, описывающих части стула.

В идеале должен существовать способ выбора нужной ревизии на основе URL.
