So whenever I post a link to our site (community.auth0.com) it doesn’t auto-expand/summarize like it does for other Discourse sites. Is there anything I should be checking?
Is the topic / post you are linking to in a secure category? Do you mean literally a link to the root page of the website?

It is possible to disable link previews for specific domains - maybe this has been done by accident on your slack organisation: Share links and set preview preferences | Slack
