Hi, folks. I run an invite-only Discourse site and a corresponding Slack workspace. I have chat integration enabled and it works fine. When my “Forumbot” automatically posts a topic to Slack, I see the nice content preview in Slack; when I share a link, I don’t get that nice content preview. I know why, but I’d like to be able to post a Topic to Slack on demand, just as though the chat integration bot were doing it.
Is this currently possible from what’s already there? If not, how hard would it be to add the behavior to the chat integration? I speak Rails; I just don’t want to dive in if I can avoid it.
