Map oidc fields to custom user fields

Is it possible to pull info from OIDC and map it to a user custom field?

Here’s what I’m trying to do. We have set up an internal forum at our company, and we want to run reports where we look at activity aggregated up at a manager level. I’ll like to pull the manager name from OIDC and have that associated with the user, so I can use that field in my reports.

Does that make sense?

I’m afraid I don’t think setting custom fields is currently supported in the Discourse OpenID Connect plugin.

If I understand what you’re trying to do, you could conceivably add users to a group for their manager.

That only helps if you’ve already got some system in place to manage groups.
