Meta Email Change w/ Security Key

  1. I tried to change my email address.
  2. I got the change address email and clicked the link.
  3. Brought me to a page on discourse.
  4. Was told to click the link “Authenticate with Security Key”.
  5. Clicked on the Authenticate button, takes me to a blank page. [meta.discourse.org/u/confirm-new-email]

Tested on Firefox and Brave.
Turned off any security stuff on the browsers.

Password reset works fine w/ security key.

I guess no one uses Security Keys and has to change their email address.

I highly recommend using security keys in 2022.

I can probably just turn off 2FA, change my address, and turn 2FA back on. I didn’t want to start looking at code.
