Mobile – Android, iOS: if home defaults to categories (or latest), then a switch from year to week causes the higher menu selection to change from 'Top' to 'Categories' (or 'Latest')

Environment

At /admin/site_settings/category/basic

  • desktop category page style is Categories and Latest Topics

– I wonder whether the style that’s intended for desktop use has an unintended effect on mobile use.

Also maybe worth mentioning, category positions are fixed.

Yes, if the homepage is “Category” page, then top menu changes to “Categories” when toggling top filters on mobile (iOS/Android).

Same can be reproduced if homepage is “Latest” page, the “Top” changes to “Latest”.

The topics shown on the page are accurate/filtered but the menu label is wrong on mobile. Added on my list. :pencil:
