Currently my website has not set up dark mode so is there a way to force users to only load the light interface?

To prevent users from being able to select other color schemes, you can disable âColor scheme can be selected by usersâ for each dark color palette your forum has:
Also, have a look at the default dark mode color scheme id site setting:
