Occasionally people accidentally reply to the wrong email, and send an irrelevant email to the forum…
If you go to the Categories → Settings page for the category that your users are responding by email to, you could enable the Require moderator approval of all new topics
and/or Require moderator approval of all new replies
settings.
This would force all incoming topic creation emails or email replies to be approved before posting to your site.
Thanks. The problem is that most people reply via the forum and I don’t want every topic or reply to be held for moderation. It’s a rare occurrence (accidental emails) so I can just live with it.
