Navigation toggle persists on mobile after selection is tapped

The navigation toggle dropdown stays open after the selection is tapped on mobile. Reproduces on meta in iOS Safari and iOS Chrome and desktop Chrome developer inspector in iOS device emulation.

It can be closed ‘manually’ by tapping on the toggle again

Expected behavior: dropdown disappears after selection is tapped.
