New Chat channel not showing up for users

We just launched Chat and are running into an issue. I set up two channels, with the exact same settings, but users aren’t able to see or join one of them. The other is behaving as expected.

This is the error our community members are getting: You are not permitted to view the requested resource.

I have everyone selected under chat allowed groups. I also tried deleting and creating the channel over again, but we are having the same issue.

Is one of the channels attached to a category which is restricted?

I didn’t think they were, but turns out this one was so folks could only post in the subcategories. It’s working now, thank you :slight_smile:
