Hello I’m trying to setup my own discourse on a DigitalOcean VPS and the admin activation email is not sending!! I setup the SMTP details as my email provider gave me but nothing happens and not able to star using Discourse. Anybody can help me? Is there any restriction between email server and domain name?
Do you have any more details? Which email provider are you using?
Running /var/discourse/discourse-doctor could help.

If your sender address is the same as the admin address with proton mail the letter will not send but still exists in the outbox.
