Not Receiving Admin Verification Email After Setup

Hi,

I’ve just finished installing my self-hosted Discourse forum, but I’m not receiving the admin account verification email. Can someone take a quick look at my SMTP settings and let me know if anything seems off or if there’s something I should change?

Just to add, there’s been a spate of Mailgun [1] Digital Ocean blocking ports as some kind of anti-spam initiative or some such, so you may need to get in touch with them to unblock it if that’s the case.

Though I think changing the smtp port to 2525 could also work as an alternative - re: Email not working on my Discourse site - #10 by pfaffman

But switching to port 2525 is a good first step. Digital ocean is blocking outgoing smtp ports but default.

In your pic your SMTP USERNANE appears to be the same as notification email address.

Depending on your SMTP provider this is often your SMTP sign up email. At least it is on www.brevo.com

The password should be redacted. But is that the SMTP password or an API key?
