I know of a community that is very established using Yammer, but is thinking of leaving it for business reasons.
Does anyone know of a playbook?
My thinking so far is to recruit the existing active users in to evaluating other communitiy software including Discourse.

Step one would be to identify all the use cases the current product satisfies.
Yammer has a broad range of functionality, find out what’s being used and go from there.
Be careful to avoid premature elaboration. If users think you’re trying to shoehorn a different product in particular they’re likely to be very unwilling to engage.
