Continuing the discussion from Ignore auto-track settings if topic is in muted category:
I understand this won’t be changed in core, but I’d like to disable auto-tracking when reading or replying to topics in a specific category – which happens to also be a muted category – in my instance.
I assume this is doable in a plugin, I found some references to auto_track but couldn’t grasp yet how to override the default behavior to add this exception.
Any help is appreciated.
