Hi, I have Discourse configured on port 90 and 453. The container also runs on these ports, but although these are also open, Discourse is still not reachable!

Letsencrypt needs port 80 to verify the hostname for ssl. Failed ssl verification results in no certificate being issued and that’s probably what is causing your discourse to not show up.
Do the right thing, use port 80 & 443.

Another version of the answer you got already is that nonstandard ports are not supported. I recommend that you get another vm, but there are topics like How to set up Discourse on a server with existing Apache sites
