Posting / category creation -> 404

I just created a staging copy of a working forum. Changes compared to the live forums are as follows:

  • different FQDN (obviously)
  • no SSL/LE (commented out both in the container yml)
  • Mail switched from SES to Mailhog locally

Problem is that I’m not able to post to the forums. All I’m getting is a 404 in a modal message box. This also happens when I try to create a category.

My assumption is that it may have to do with switching off SSL so i checked settings. Force HTTPS is off and I can’t find any other setting related to that.

Any idea what else might go wrong here? Unfortunately the error itself doesn’t really point me to anything really helpful.

I don’t think that works anymore. Just use the recommended let’s encrypt configuration and it’ll work.
