El mensaje de error es “client_loop: send disconnect: Connection reset”. Este es un mensaje de error de SSH, que indica que tu máquina perdió la conexión con el servidor.

Las causas más probables son que tu conexión a Internet se caiga o que al servidor se le estén acabando los recursos (RAM o espacio en disco) y esté terminando la conexión.

Terminé comprando otro servidor, más robusto y potente, 4 núcleos vCPU. 8 GB de RAM, 50 GB NVMe, resulta que cuando voy a instalar discourse en él, todos los pasos funcionan bien, no ocurren errores, pero cuando voy a acceder a la dirección de mi sitio web aparece el siguiente mensaje “ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT” cuando escribo el comando discourse doctor, siempre se cuelga en esa pantalla y nunca sale de ella.

Ya reinstalé el servidor, ya reinstalé discourse, hice todos los pasos de nuevo, pero esto siempre sucede, no sé qué más hacer.

No estoy seguro de qué sugerir: las instrucciones para una instalación estándar siempre deberían tener éxito. En algún lugar, algo salió mal y no lo viste, o no lo compartiste. Es muy difícil ayudar cuando no podemos ver.

Noto que cambiaste el comando wget: no pegaste el comando exacto. Así que no creo que podamos aprender nada de eso. Quizás deberías intentarlo de nuevo.

No respondiste la pregunta sobre el DNS. Deberías intentar hacer ping a tu nombre de dominio completo

ping -c2 your.full.domain.name.com

pero por supuesto usando tu propio nombre de dominio. Deberías verificar si la dirección IP que se informa es exactamente la misma que la dirección IP de tu servidor.

Si tu DNS es correcto y apunta a tu servidor, entonces tu problema probablemente se deba a que lo intentaste varias veces cuando el DNS no funcionaba y has alcanzado los límites de tasa de Let’s Encrypt. Las soluciones fáciles son esperar una semana o usar un subdominio diferente. Una solución más difícil es solicitar un nuevo certificado con varios dominios en Set up Let’s Encrypt with multiple domains / redirects, pero como ya estás teniendo problemas, te recomiendo que simplemente uses un subdominio diferente hasta que resuelvas las cosas.
