#42128 (multiple content languages, announced in Multi-language preferences for displaying localized content - #22 by nat) landed on 2026-07-30, just after 2026.7 was cut, so sites on the 2026.7 ESR don’t have the Content languages preference.
Is a backport to release/2026.7 on the table, or should ESR sites expect it with the next ESR?
Context: I run a small multilingual community on 2026.7.3 (English, French, German, Italian) with enabled AI translation. “Languages I understand” is the piece our multilingual members are missing.
