Anyone know – ??
I understand that a server with a CPU optimized for single-threaded performance is optimal for running one Discourse instance. (i.e. – Intel® Core™ i9-13900 24 Core “Raptor Lake-S”)
But for hosting multiple Discourse instances, would the optimal server specs be for multi-simultaneous threading (i.e. AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D)?
Assuming that either option would include 128GB of DDR5 RAM.
For hosting multiple startup Discourse instances (maybe up to a dozen or so) is single-threaded CPU or multi-threaded CPU the right starting point?
I would appreciate any thoughts or opinions
