I’ve just noticed that scheduled publication does not set the date, which means if the post has been in progress for some time it does not even appear in the ‘Latest’ posts view.
Is there any way to change this? Either change the behaviour of the post or set the publication date so it appears in latest in the publication order?
Hi there, perhaps try resetting the bump date? In the topic admin wrench (at the bottom of the topic; not post admin wrench)> Reset bump date.
Hmm, I think it works fine on my forum.
For testing, I used a topic that was created about a year ago in a private category. I used the admin wrench to set a timer for publishing.
Once the topic was published, the timestamp was updated, and it appeared at the top of /latest.
Do you notice anything that you do differently?
To fix the topic you published, you can try to manually change the timestamp or use the timer to trigger an automatic bump.
@spdegabrielle were you able to figure out how scheduled publishing works to your satisfaction? If not, can you explain in more detail what you have tried, if possible with screenshots?
