Steam Browser Protocol links are not working. For example, in a browser, this would launch a game and connect to a server:
steam://connect/1.0.0.27:27015
But when hyperlinked, it does not appear to do anything in my instance. It does work here below:
steam://connect/1.0.0.27:27015
I was able to find an old thread where this was looked at and presumably fixed. I’m trying to figure out why it does not work for my own forum.
Add what you need to admin/site_settings/category/all_results?filter=allowed href schemes.

An admin on your instance can go to that setting and add a href scheme, such as gopher or whatever you need.
Go to your site settings and search for “scheme”.
You need to explicitly add the steam scheme to be allowed in your forum instance:
