- Go to a parent category e.g: #howto
- Select none on subcategory dropdown
- This will navigate to the home page instead of listing the topics which only in parent category
I can replicate this on my test site (updated this morning - cc1b45f58b).
Selecting ‘none’ for the subcategory on a category page sends you back to the homepage.
@kris.kotlarek just merged a fix, should be good now.
Thanks for posting with a screen capture, @dodesz! Saved me a lot of work, since I signed on to ask about the same thing!
I’m also experiencing this if I choose either “all” or “none” after navigating to one of the sub-categories. I couldn’t replicate it here in meta, though.
My site is on Discourse 2.8.0.beta8, which seems to be the same as meta at the moment.
(Edited to add… @sam is like a ninja sneaking that fix in while I was still typing. )
You are a few commits behind we will roll out a fix asap.
