Subcategory dropdown none navigate to home page

Hello,

Repro:

  1. Go to a parent category e.g: #howto
  2. Select none on subcategory dropdown
  3. This will navigate to the home page instead of listing the topics which only in parent category

Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

I can replicate this on my test site (updated this morning - cc1b45f58b).

Selecting ‘none’ for the subcategory on a category page sends you back to the homepage.

@kris.kotlarek just merged a fix, should be good now.

Thanks for posting with a screen capture, @Don! Saved me a lot of work, :relieved: since I signed on to ask about the same thing!

I’m also experiencing this if I choose either “all” or “none” after navigating to one of the sub-categories. I couldn’t replicate it here in meta, though.

My site is on Discourse 2.8.0.beta8, which seems to be the same as meta at the moment.

(Edited to add… @sam is like a ninja sneaking that fix in while I was still typing.)
