Does anyone know what could cause a massive spike in anonymous users (other than the obvious “more people going to the site”)? We only have 600+ folks in our community so this sudden spike seems confusing.
In general, this kind of spike is caused by one or more bots.
It’s nothing to be concerned about. This is normal on the net.
