Is there a reason why the settings, active, … tabs from admin > users remain visible when you look at a specific user’s admin page? It feels a bit disorienting because at that point, I’m no longer within one of those filtered lists — I’m viewing a single user.
The experience becomes even more confusing when you navigate from the public profile of the user to the user’s admin page. Then you don’t see those lists before getting there.
Perhaps an interface like the one for reports would fit better. When viewing an individual report, the UI simply shows a “Back to all reports” link at the top instead of persistent tabs. That approach might also work well here — hiding the tabs when viewing an individual user and instead showing a “Back to all users” link would feel more streamlined.
Hiding the tabs and therefore showing “Back to (all) users” at the top would create a similar experience for me.
Though I am not sure how well that works when you start at the public profile. “Back to users” wouldn’t make much sense in that case because that is not where I came from. But there is already a button that takes you to the user’s public profile.
