Could this be a starter task @sam? Accessibility requires that this be navigable via keyboard, but something about the way it is dynamically inserted with JavaScript must be interfering.

Maybe … it could be a tiny bit tricky, perhaps @misaka4e21 can have a quick look at this. Maybe its as easy as adding a tabindex, but maybe markup needs changing, not sure.
