Unable to reply due to javascript error [Quick Quote theme component]

After the last update of Discourse core, we encountered an issue where there is no ability to reply to an existing topic.

I created a video here.

The error I am receiving is:

Is there anybody able to assist here? =) Thanks a lot!

It looks like it doesn’t like User Tips for some reason. I’m not able to replicate this on my test site. Does it work in safe mode?

Hi @Festinger

This file doesn’t exist in Discourse core, so I think it must be a theme/plugin issue. Do you have Quick Quote Theme Component installed? If so, please could you try disabling it and see if it helps?

(cc @merefield - looks like that theme might need some tweaks following some recent core changes)

Thanks,
@JammyDodger — it worked and it was indeed related to a theme component.

@david – I am really happy that this was the culprit of the issue. I disabled the theme component and the issue seems to be resolved. Thank you very much and hopefully @merefield can provide a fix. =)
